Molly Treanor has left Sky, where she was internal comms manager, to take up an internal comms role at Unilever, which owns brands such as Dove, Persil, Ben & Jerry’s, and Marmite.

She confirmed the move in a post on LinkedIn last week: “I’m happy to share that I’ve started a new role as global people communications manager at Unilever!”

At Unilever, Treanor is the “day-to-day custodian” of its core global employee communications channels as well as the “development, ownership, and delivery of campaign plans”, according to the company.

In addition to producing and curating content, her remit also includes working with other parts of Unilever to “enhance and improve the employee experience”.

Treanor describes herself as an “experienced comms professional” who is “skilled in corporate communications, internal communications, PR and social media” on her LinkedIn profile.

She has spent the past few years at Sky, where she started out as a corporate comms and campaigns executive and rose to external comms manager before moving into internal comms in 2025.

Prior to Sky she worked at the NSPCC as an internal comms officer and earlier in her career Treanor was a senior campaign executive at broadcast PR agency The Relations Group.
